Fabolous hat es schon richtig gesagt: Macklemore passt zu den Grammys und hat deswegen gewonnen. Kendrick ist halt zu wenig Pop um da abzuräumen.

Krass! Das Kendrick so hart in der Abstimmung abgekackt hat, Top 3 hätte drin sein müssen. Aber da sieht man halt auch, dass es einfach auch um die Polarisierung des Künstlers geht. Da war auch einfach Macklemore mit Ryan Lewis richtig stark. Promo, mega starke Live Auftritte, gute single auskopplungen und der Homo-ok Song.

Jo. Jay hat die 24% ja auch locker durch seinen Status + die Single mit J.Timberlake hinbekommen. Drake ist da eher Pop/RnB und trotzdem liegt er 6% hinter Jay.

While doing my late-night internet rounds the other night, I came across this pretty dope remix, which is actually a combination of Kendrick Lamar's "Blow My High" (off Section.80) and his verse from Game's "The City."

We’ve already heard some great tracks off the upcoming Divergent soundtrack: M83 contributed the epic “I Need You“, A$AP Rocky teamed up with Gesaffelstein for “In Distress,” and Pia Mia rounded up Chance The Rapper and Clams Casino on “Fight For You.” The soundtrack also pairs up Tame Impala and Kendrick Lamar for a reworking of “Feels Like We Only Go Backwards,” a track from the Australians’ sophomore album Lonserism. The new version is simply called “Backwards” and the band’s wobbly psych-pop sounds great over Kendrick’s snarl.
