This classic underground Memphis classic has been out of circulation for 20 years but now Ovaground Undaground SounDZ is re-releasing this classic for the streets. Collivierville, Tennesee's own Tony T was a legend before he moved to his current neighborhood of Frayser (known as the Bay Area). Tony T was one of the most known rappers in the Memphis underground rap scene at one time being known for his rap's on K97 FM's nightly "Role Call" lead by DJ Stan Bell. After his radio freestyle days, he clicked up with his local producer Shawty also hailing from Collierville along with his partner Sin and released his first solo tape titled "Who Is Tony T?" This record also features a early showing from young Bay Area upstarts at the time High Ruler Warlord King Cane & L'Daialogue DiCaprio of 2DEEP then known as Lil' Cane and Lil' Dai. This tape also featured Big Reed, Lil Jeremy, Sin and the production is entirely handled by Shawty. Check it out.
