Eminem: Alle Infos zu "Curtain Call"

[/float]Wie wir bereits Anfang Oktober berichteten, veröffentlicht Eminem aka Slim Shady nach über 65 Millionen welweit verkauften Alben am 2.Dezember über Interscope Records sein erstes "Greatest Hits"-Album mit dem Titel "Curtain Call" (unsere News vom 11.10.2005).

Auf dem Longplayer wird man neben den großen Hits (wie z.B. "My Name Is," "The Way I Am," "Lose Yourself" und "Stan") auch drei brandneue und unveröffentlichte [ssuche]Eminem[/ssuche]-Tracks zu hören bekommen. Dazu gehören die Tracks "Fack", "Shake That" (feat. Nate Dogg) und natürlich die erste Single "When I’m Gone", die allerdings erst am 16.Dezember erscheint. Das Video zur Single, ein autobiographischer Introspektiv-Clip, feierte Anfang der Woche Premiere auf den Musikkanälen. Das Label über das Video:
"Das in seiner Heimatstadt Detroit unter der Regie von Anthony Mandler gedrehte Video zu "When I'm Gone" illustriert den von Eminem im Laufe der vergangenen Jahre vollzogenen und durchaus schmerzhaften Spagat zwischen unglaublich rasantem Karriereaufstieg, bis dato unerreichtem Celebrity-Status und seiner Rolle als Familienvater; Eminem verarbeitet in dem Video sowie im Text auch sehr eindrucksvoll die Therapie seiner Schlafmittelabhängigkeit in einer Detroiter Klinik.

Die Lyrics zum Track auf englisch und deutsch könnt ihr euch hier downloaden. "Curtain Call" wird als Standard CD und als Limited Edition Deluxe CD (Doppel-CD) erhältlich sein. Die Deluxe Edition wird neben einigen Bonus-Tracks auch eine zweite CD namens "Stan's Mixtape" enthalten. Darauf sind Eminems persönliche Lieblingssongs (unter anderem "Just Don't Give A F*ck", "Role Model" und "Kill You") und Feature-Tracks wie "Dead Wrong RMX" (feat. The Notorious B.I.G.), "Renegade" (feat. Jay-Z) und "Sh*t On You" (feat. D12) zu hören. Die Tracklist von "Curtain Call" findet ihr in der Diskussion.

stans mixtape find ich is ne coole idee.. interessiert mich, welche tracks er slebst mag.. die gelisteten role model und just don't give a **** gehören auch zu meinen favoriten. kill you eher nicht so :>
 
ne best of find ich net schlecht.obwohl ichs mir net holen werde.ich hoffe lieber mal auf ein album...
 
fack ist mit abstand der schlechteste song, den ich je gehört habe...
wie kann man nur ein lied schreiben, indem es darum geht, einen finger im arsch zu haben und das geil zu finden

Shake that ist schon was besseres, dank Nate Dogg. Man kann es sich anhören, in der Disco kommt der Track bestimmt auch gut, aber unwahrscheinlich, dass Eminem früher auch solche "Yeah, baby, dein Körper ist so geil."-Tracks gemacht hätte

endlich mal ein discotrack v. eminem...shake that..klingt sehr gut
when i'm gone is sowieso hammer..mit dem videoclip noch geiler
fack is typical eminem..od. slim shady..
 
naja ich hoff eigentlich dass das nich alles war was wir von Em in der nächsten Zeit bekommen, aber sieht schwer danach aus.:(
 
sicher wärs schön wenn mehr unveröffentlichte Sachen drauf wären, aber es is ja nen greatest hits album.

und außerdem finde ich das eminem einer der wenigen ist, die sich wirklich nen geatest hits album leisten können, weil er halt auch die entsprechenden hits hat, im gegensatz zu vielen anderen die so ein album rausbringen.

Gibt nicht viel zu sagen. "Shake that" und "When I`m gone", sind einfach Hammer!!! Ich freu`mich drauf!
