Okay okay, i got to admit money, Wayne flows a lot more than pap

but concerning pap it's always the same with me: I like the way he brings lines I would never expect at that moment and somehow he always succeeds in flashing me, although his voice and flow over the beat are not perfect.

in dem alter sollte man sich ewiges-talent nennen...
 
Naja das alter hat ja nix mit der Neuheit eines Artists zu tun...

Für mich ist ein "neues Talent" jemand der eben neu rauskommt, neu spittet usw.
Das Alter ist mir dabei egal, man nennt ihn ja nicht "junges Talent"

Basically, anything Slay says is bullshit. He has invested time and money into Pap, and wants to make a return on his investment. But everyone is slowly realizing that although the kid has talent, hes not makin an impact like some people (Slay) think he should. Just remember that not all talented musicians blow up and many untalented musicians do "make it big". To be commercially successful, you have to be more than just lyrics, its a whole package. Slay thinks if he hypes Pap up enough then maybe fans will start dick-riding and Pap will blow. But it doesnt seem to be happening and thats why Busta made it clear that Pap is NOT signed to Flipmode, Aftermath, or whatever else. Streetsweepers is just Slays little endeavor, not even a real label.

Since we are on a thread about Pap obviously people that like him are gonna be on here too, but on a mass market scale, hes just isnt gonna make it. He had his spot on "Touch It" and personally ithink he wasted it, but hey, I never liked Pap that much to begin with when I heard his mixtape shit 2 years ago!

mir gefällt der auch nicht so besonders, hab keine ahnung warum der so gehyped wird im moment. schlecht isser nicht aber wenn das alles ist was new york im moment am start hat?

der typ kann rappen aber er kommt halt einfach nicht richtig rüber finde ich. ich will dem einfach nicht länger als ne minute zuhören.
 
einer der besten newcomer zur zeit zusammen mit jae millz und jr ;)
alles mixtape rapper wer wirklich über ein ganzes album überzeugen kann wird sich zeigen aber ich glaube alle :)
murda mook album ist auch geil geworden obwohl man nixx davon fst gehört hat:(

wenn du seinen tracks nur ne minute geschenkt hast wissen wir ja jetzt was wir von deinen meinungen zu halten haben.
ist bei vielen künstlern so das man sie zuerst nicht "ausergewöhnlich" gut findet und je mehr man von ihnen hört umso mehr gefällt es einem dann.is zumindest bei mir so
 
also ich finde papoose ist einer der besten mc´s den amiland momentan zu bieten hat...kp aber mich hat er komplett überzeugt!
 
ich hab ja nicht gesagt das er schlecht ist. nur der absolute hammer ist er wie ich finde eben auch nicht.

wenn ich den mit leuten wie nas, jay-z oder busta vergleiche dann ist der für mich einfach nur mittelmass sorry. aus dem ganzen kram der heutzutage bei mtv läuft sticht der typ natürlich raus keine frage denn besser rappen als paul wall und die ying yang twins kann er schon. ist aber nur meine meinung ;)

ich finde zwar auch nicht, dass papoose DER HAMMER ist, aber der typ hatte zb im "touch it" video eine hammer präsenz. und obwohl da alle ziemlich gut sind (auch mal wieder dmx :D ), papoose fasziniert mich am meisten in dem lied... "the bronx on my middlefinger, screamin **** you"
 
er und saigon sind halt was neues. kein clubzeug, kein dirrty south... sondern mal wieder ny! ist halt erfrischend mal wieder sowas zu hören. das trägt sicher auch dazu bei, dass er so gehyped wird.
irgendwie hatten damals bishop lamont und crooked-i doch auch so ein kleinen buzz... weil westcoast eben auch nicht präsent war. aber die beiden - auch wenn sie gut sind (vorallem, weil crooked i auf "youre so bad" von kyoung klingt wie royce - DER BESTE RAPPER IN USA!) - sind sicher nicht die besten. einfach was "neues altes"
