"Free Mixtapes" von Hell Razah & Little Brother

Kurz vor dem Release seines Debütalbums "Renaissance Child" (20.Februar über Nature Sounds) hat Hell Razah gemeinsam mit DJ Rated R ein kostenloses Mini-Mixtape mit dem Titel "Back to the Renaissance" zum Download zusammengestellt. Auf den Tracks ist der Brooklyn MC auf diversen Oldschool-Beats von unter anderem Big Daddy Kane, Kool G Rap und Public Enemy zu hören. Razah in einem Statement:

"I wanted to take it back to when it was just about beats and rhymes. It was that whole Marley Marl era that had the most influence."

Wie wir bereits berichteten (unsere News vom 30.01.2007), haben nun auch Little Brother und Mick Boogie ihr neues Mixtape "And Justus For All" ihren Fans gratis zum Download bereitgestellt. Zu hören bekommt man ausschließlich neues Material mit Feature-Gästen wie Ray Cash, Rhymefest, Supastition, Skillz, Talib Kweli, Kardinall Offishal, Oddisee und Bishop Lamont. Phonte über das 20-Track starke Mixtape:

"I don't do the 'freestyle' thing to often, because honestly, rapping over other n*ggas' instrumentals bores me. I'd rather make something fresh. That's what this is, fresh new music and recently released LB tracks to get people ready for Get Back."
