Scheint leider da weiter zu machen, wo er bei Vol. 2 aufgehört hat. Seine Versuche mit "softeren" Songs kommerzielle Erfolge zu erzielen, bewirken wahrscheinlich gerade das Gegenteil.
 
In an interview with The NY Hip Hop Report Saigon tells us something banging about his new album, “It’s executive produced by Just Blaze, but DJ Premier did the majority of the production on the record. Just Blaze got a record on there, but DJ Premier is really at the helm.”
Fuck yeah! the next chapter of “The Greatest Story Never Told Chapter 3: The Playbook” is expected for May ’14. All I know he has three tracks produced by DJ Premier and one is featuring Big Daddy Kane, this is what Saigon said about the Big Daddy Kane feature: “The feature I been waiting my whole life for. This is bigger than the Jay-Z feature to me personally.” Maybe more Premo tracks to expect? :eek::thumbsup:
 
Das heisst leider noch nix... kann, so wie Saigon in letzter Zeit aufgetreten ist, leider auch ziemlich wack werden, zumal Primo-Beats und BDK-Features heutzutage noch lange kein Sureshot sind. Hoffe als großer Saigon-Fan natürlich auch das Gegenteil! ;)
 
Hauptsache das Album ist wieder von Top-Produzenten produziert und nicht von so Langweilern wie DJ Corbet.

Wenn man schon "feat. G. Martin" liest, bekommt man schon die böse Vorahnung, dass da wieder so ein sterbenslangweiliger RnB-Sänger die Hook singt und wird dann wenige Momente leider gleich bestätigt.:(
 
Morgen soll die nächste Single des neuen Albums kommen: "Sinner's Prayer" mit Papoose!
 
Saigon kann man abschreiben, kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass er jemals wieder positiv hervorstechen wird.

Hat der die richtige Sprache vergessen ? Die genuschelte Hook nervt hart. Das hat auch nix mit Style zu tun.

Homophobie ist doch im US Rap nichts Neues, würde sogar behaupten die Mehrheit der Rapper, insbesondere die der älteren Generationen, haben sich schon homophob geäußert.

Ob das nun Cam'ron mit "no homo" ist oder aber die ganze Sache mit "Pause" etc.
