72 Tefla & Jaleel ft. Der Klan & Curse - Gib Mir (2001)

Mit den Singles 'Rhythmus Mafiosis' und 'Ein Tag am See' hatten die Chemnitzer von Phlatline Records (die auch beim Splash Festival involviert waren) einen kleinen Underground Hype, 2001 kam dann ihr Debut Album 'Interview' mit Major-Support, das immerhin in der Top40 landete. Damit gehörten sie zu den wenigen Acts aus der Masse an Crews*, die nach dem 99er Hype aufkamen, die kommerziell etwas reißen konnten.
Soundtechnisch ging das Album nicht die die Richtung der Singles, sondern war eher elektronisch und jiggy.

*Im Gegensatz zu heute gab es damals viel mehr Crews als Solo-Rapper.

Das 'Full House' Papzt Album hatte großen Impact, trat den Hype von va Savas aber auch von C+J so richtig los, hatte mehrere Videoauskopplungen und stieg auf 14 in den Charts ein.
Das folgende 'Dreamteam' ging im Vergleich dazu ziemlich unter, hatte aber auch paar stabile Tracks.
