Die bis jetzt 5 teilige Doku Serie "That UK Sound" von The Analyst aus England. Mit Abstand die beste Doku Serie die ich jemals gesehen habe! Es geht um England und den jamaikanischen Einfluss auf die Entwicklung fast aller Genres die auf der Insel entstanden sind. Der Tüp der die Doku Serie gemacht hat beleuchtet die kulturellen, sozio-politischen und ökonomischen Entwicklungen warum welches Genre wie wann und wo entstanden ist. Es geht um Dub, Reggae, Acid House, Jungle, Drum n Bass, Piratensender, UK Garage, Bassline, Jamaika und Dubstep. Der Tüp der die Serie macht macht das nicht aus Profit Gründen die Videos sind nicht monetarisiert, die Doku ist nur da um lehrreich zu sein für alle die sich für die Musik von der Insel interessieren. Die Serie ist nicht abgeschlossen und der nächste Teil wird sich dem Big Beat widmen. Ein weitere Teil über Grime ist auch schon angekündigt, So Solid Crew werden allerdings auch schon erwähnt. Und das großartigste an der Serie ist das er alle Quellen angibt und auch etliche YouTube Kanäle, Dokus und Tracks/Alben empfiehlt. Absolute Empfehlung! Neverending Journey!
