Album ist echt top. Hab es die letzten Tage jetzt immer wieder mal gehört. Würde auch sagen ein Grower, der jetzt umso besser ballert :thumbsup:
 
für mich ist „anything for love“ der hidden gem. generell ist mir das album etwas zu defensiv und angepasst, aber ich finds trotzdem recht gut. spannend ist halt anders.

bei „these walls“ muss ich immer an den kendrick-song denken, jaja, das hat er nicht exklusiv, aber vor dem aktuellen hintergrund krieg ich’s halt nicht ausgeblendet lach.
 
Bei mir leben seit Freitag vor allem "Whatcha Doing", "French Exit" und "Falling Forever" mietfrei im Kopf. Bin auf jeden Fall auch zufrieden. :thumbsup:
 
Ich denke, sie sollte auch bald ihre nächste Tournee ankündigen.

Falling Forever und Watcha Doing sind so pervers gut, Wahnsinn.
Rest noch nicht herausragend aufgefallen aber werde öfters reinhören.
 
Album ist bei mir mittlerweile auch richtig angekommen. Dass da kein zweites Future Nostalgia kommt, war klar. Dass mir so ein Sommer Vibe Album dann doch so gut reinläuft, nicht unbedingt. Die Flöte in Maria ist ein Geniestreich. Und dieser In the clouds/there she goes/butterflies/let them flow[...] Part im Opener lebt sowas von mietfrei in meinem Kopf

alexis petridis hat meine meinung ausführlicher und vor allem sehr viel eleganter für den guardian niedergeschrieben. co-sign. das mit den vorher genannten referenzen mutet im nachhinein schon fast albern an.

But it’s so far removed from what Dua Lipa has claimed it is that you find yourself frantically searching for evidence of what she might have meant. Does the “psychedelic” part refer to the presence of songwriter/producer Kevin Parker, who certainly started his career making lysergic alt-rock with Tame Impala, but turns up here in his pop hitmaker guise familiar from his work with Lady Gaga and the Weeknd? Is the regular presence of an acoustic guitar – and a pretty sliver of electric slide that decorates These Walls – supposed to signify Britpop?
