[/float]Gestern wurden in Hollywood die Nominierungen für die 49. Grammy Awards bekanntgebeben. Der weltweit wichtigste Musikpreis wird am 11.Februar 2007 im Staples Center von Los Angeles verliehen.

In den vier Rap-relevanten Kategorien sind unter anderem Will.i.am, Busta Rhymes, T.I., Gnarls Barkley, Missy Elliott, Eminem, Lupe Fiasco und Mos Def nominiert. Um den Preis des besten Rap-Albums streiten sich T.I. (King), Lupe Fiasco (Food & Liquor), Ludacris (Release Therapy), Pharrell (In My Mind) und The Roots (Game Theory).

Das Gnarls Barkley Album St. Elsewhere wurde sogar für den Award "Album des Jahres" nominiert. Mit insgesamt acht Nominierungen hat Mary J. Blige die besten Aussichten auf eine der begehrten Auszeichnungen.

so siehts aus.... Wer das The Roots album hat...weiss das es stimmt!
Lupe sollte auf jedenfall n grammy mitnehmen.. und chamillionaire auch einen. Ridin ist nice.. Busta hatte ein gutes jahr-- Komisch das sein album nicht nominiert ist.. B +J--- naja.. knallt halt ordentlich aufm dancefloor... geht klar..

Was ja mal gar nicht geht is das Mary J insgesamt 8 nominierungen hat obwohl The Breakthrough mal das mit abstand schlechteste Werk von allen war die sie rausgebracht hat.
Deswegen sag ich nach wievor ... der Grammy ist ne hässliche Auszeichnung von Leuten ohne Ahnung.
Wer dachte das der Oscar schlimm sollte da mal vorbeigucken.

so sehe ich das ganze also wenn busta nicht abstaubt mit der touch it performance dann weis ich nicht wie besoffen man sein muss diesen award jemand anders zu geben!!!
 
Also Will.I.Am hätte es mal echt verdient.. er is der beste bei den Black Eyed Peas und hat sich eine richtig schöne solokariere aufgebaut.. er macht saubere beats was ich bis vor paar monaten nichmal wusste und als featuregast hört man ihn auch gerne.. ein echtes multitalent..

So und nicht anders wird die Sache ausgehen.
 
Ach quatsch, Hip Hop ist nicht tot, nur gibts Leute, die Rap machen und n Scheiß auf HipHop, die Community und die Kultur geben und sich nur bereichern wollen und sonst nix. Leider ist es so, dass diese meist ausgezeichnet werden und Erfolg haben, obwohl viele von denen oft wenig bis nix mit HipHop zu tun haben, außer vllt, dass sie Rap-Musik machen, aber dann auch oft nur aus dem Grund um sich die Taschen zu füllen und auf alles andere schei*en. That's a problem. Aber HipHop lebt definitiv. Es gibt ne Menge Leute, die mit Herz & Seele bei der Sache sind, ob sie nun breaken, writen, emceen oder DJ sind oder vllt sogar keins dieser Elemente aktiv ausleben aber trotzdem HipHop in sich tragen & leben.
Es sind hier ja auch mal gute Künstler nominiert, die echt nice sind und damit habe ich schon mal nicht gerechnet, auch wenn ich sicherlich noch andere Künstler nominiert hätte und andere sicherlich nicht drauf getan hätte. Roots, Lupe & Mos Def sind doch sehr geil und Busta ist auch okay.
