“A lot of artists have a problem with putting other people on, and people don’t embrace them [when they do it] because it ain’t genuine,” Gucci says. “I’m always trying to help people. But do I want to play that when I jump in my Maybach?”

sehr guter artikel. bringt perfekt aufn punkt, dass gucci eine ureigene definition von keep it real verkörpert.

While Gucci’s hood stardom never translated to the same level of crossover success that contemporaries (and rivals) like T.I. or Young Jeezy did, his modern-day resonance dwarfs theirs.

Ach, meiner Ansicht hat keiner ATL-Trap in den vergangenen 10 Jahren mehr beeinflusst als Gucci.

Er allein ist dafür verantwortlich, dass wir heute die 808 Mafia haben (TM88, Southside, Metro Boomin, Tarantino). Wo wäre Mike Will ohne Gucci? Wo wäre Zaytoven ohne Gucci? Wo wäre Waka ohne Gucci. Wo wäre Young Thug ohne Gucci?

Album macht ordentlich Spaß. Gewaltiges Soundbild von Mike Will und Zaytoven, Gucci mit der richtigen G-Ausstrahlung und massig Quotables. Dass seine Stimme an Volumen verloren hat fällt einem auf Albumlänge irgendwie kaum auf, kam mir bei manchen Vorabtracks viel extremer vor. Vor allem das Intro, "Waybach", "Pussy Print" (Kanye endlich mal wieder mit brauchbarem Gastpart), "Pop Music", "Guwop Home", "Richest Nigga In The Room", "1st Day Out Tha Feds", "All My Children" und der Bonus-Track "Multi Millionaire LaFlare" sind richtig gut. Ähnlich starke Knast-Rückkehr wie Boosie letztes Jahr gelungen.
 
Robbed und Pop Music so verdammt hot, komm darauf überhaupt nicht klar, wie geil kann man sein...

Feier das Album immer noch richtig krass, free Gucci beste was uns passiern konnt des Jahr!
 
hab die cd gestern von amazon.de bekommen. inklusive versand 14 euro nochwas, versand aus kanada, hat ca. 2 wochen gedauert. nun haben sie die auch in deutschland auf lager, kostet aber über 30 euro ololol. jedoch immer noch gute preise bei marketplace-händlern.

der anfang vom video hahaha.
 
mittlerweile für mich sein bestes album nach "trap house" bzw. von all denen, die ich kenne. mike will liefert hier definitiv besser ab als auf "sremmlife 2". und so viele geile zitate:

hhhm seine alben zu toppen is anisch ja nich so schwer (abgesehn von return of mr zone 6 das is dope)... aber reicht es um seine top mixtapes zu battlen?
 
Leute, ich Feier gucci leider erst so richtig hart seit dem Album hier. Kann mir jemand mal wirkliche Empfehlungen seiner restlichen Projekte geben? Des Is ja so unendlich viel was der gemacht hat
