Der Track ist bereits seit zwei Tagen fertig, wurde gestern Abend ein einziges Mal von ihm auf Ustream gespielt und sollte eigentlich gar nicht veröffentlicht werden, da ein Teil seines Umfelds (insbesondere Royce und Emanny) ihn mit Nachdruck darum gebeten hat, es nicht zu tun. Nachdem auf Twitter und den großen US-Foren tagelang über den Grund spekuliert wurde (da war wirklich alles dabei), scheint der Grund jetzt klar zu sein: Budden setzt sein neues Friedensaktivistendasein - und somit auch das der House Gang - aufs Spiel, da er nicht nur NY rept und Kendrick kontert (hart aber sportlich und ohne emotional zu werden und ihm den ganzen Track zu widmen), sondern auch in Richtung A$AP, Trinidad Jame$, Joey Bada$$, Jay Elec und - deutlich ernster - Meek Mill feuert. :D

Although originally stating that he wouldn’t release his response he recorded to Kendrick’s “Control” verse, Joey apparently changed his mind. What transpires out of this is mad fucking bars. I think we can stop after this one now. Yeah, just stop.

Fast im selben Moment, in dem ich deinen Post lese, habe ich noch einen anderen Tab offen und lese folgendes:

The passion, delivery, lyricism...Everything.

This is his best display of rapping since MM3.

Hopefully he really goes in on his next album and makes the type of album he's capable of making.

Gescheitert würd ich jetzt nicht unbedingt sagen. Klar, seine Solo-Alben laufen so gut wie gar nicht und sein letzter und einziger Hit ist 10 Jahre her, er hat aber schon ne anständige Fanbase (vor allem von der MM Serie). Und bei Slaughterhouse läufts doch von den Verkaufszahlen her und allem ziemlich gut.

Aber da wär schon definitiv mehr drinnen gewesen, da geb ich dir schon recht.
