In August of 2010 DJ Jean Maron (France Based DJ/Producer) & M-Dot (Boston MC) released the full length album "RUN MPC" on Soulspazm Records. The EP, driven by conceptual lyricism over soul-ridden drum percussion, went on to amass critical applause. "RUN MPC" received a 3.5 out of 5 on HipHopDX, garnering high ratings in publications both Nationally (Boston Globe) & Internationally (Cosmic hip hop Mag), and in March '11 engendered a month long European show tour. The album features guest appearances from various members of supergroups MOP, Gangstarr Foundation, Def Squad, Juice Crew, EMC, Boot Camp Click & more. In 2011, Soulspazm, DJ Jean Maron (Host of "100 % Swizz Beatz" & "100 % Dj Premier" mixtape series) & M-Dot (2008 "2 Dope 2 Sleep On" on 2dopeboyz.com, winner of 2010 BMP Best Rap Act, & 2010 BMA Hip Hop Artist of The Year) chose some of the best rising producer talent to remix and redux the entire album. The "RUN MPC REMIX" EP delivers new visions of sound by an endowed crop of beat makers based all around the world (South Africa, Switzerland, L.A, Italy, NY, Poland, Germany, Denmark, France & more).
