Above The Law Alben als überschätzt und im gleichen Atemzug "The Fix" als eines der besten Alben von Scarface zu bezeichnen halte ich doch für etwas gewagt...

LAX ist halt noch jung, hat aber klassikerpotential, da einfach jeder track gut bis grandios ist.

zu behaupten, 'the fix' sei besser als 'mr. scarface is back' ist wie zu behaupten, 'nastradamus' sei besser als 'illmatic' ... das hat nix mehr mit geschmack zu tun, das ist einfach blödsinn.

mir persönlich gefallen all diese Alben durchweg und das reicht ;)
 
"uncle sam's course" ist auf jeden fall ein klassiker, auch wenn es mich nicht so anspricht...

"center of attention" ist für mich ein zeitloses album, auch wenn es nie offiziell rausgekommen ist (dieses doppelalbum, wo auch noch das album von deda enthalten ist mal ausgenommen).
 
Da ist ja teilweise dermaßen beschissener mainstream-müll dabei, dass ich mich frage: GEHT´S NOCH schlechter?
 
wie immer reine geschmacksache, ich kann zb mit diesen concious rap nichts anfangen... ausser talib kweli nen bischen vom lyrischen her... naja...

hier geht es um zeitlose klassiker und nicht so viele boom bap platten wie nur möglich aufzuzählen... wenn man dich fragen würde welche ollen die geilsten sind würdest du doch auch nicht hinschreiben: also ATCQ - Beats, Rhymes and Life ist voll die geile blondine mit nem hammer arsch ???
