Was geht eigentlich mit Juelz Santanas Album, wann kommt born to loose built to win? Days of our lives fand ich schonmal sehr sehr geil!
 
Denke mal dass,dass nach dem finanziellen misserfolg vom skullgang Album(!?) auf sich warten leasst. Days of our lives is gut und das kommt von jemandem der Santana eig schon aufgegeben hat;)

Would anybody really miss 40 Cal or J.R. Writer? These days, the kids love Kid Cudi (a.k.a. 40 Cudi) and Drake (a.k.a. Drake Da God), so bring them in the fold—Hell Rell will strong-arm ‘em if necessary. (Shit, Jones already jumped on “Day and Night.”) As in sports, new rookie blood can add much-needed energy to the vets. Cudi and Drake are gonna have to get used to rockin’ doo-rags, though.

Nun wird hier die ganze Zeit über Mainstream oder 'Hood' geredet... ich hab immer das Gefühl, dass diese Begriffe bei vielen automatisch mitbedeuten, dass Mainstream-Sein ein Album schlechter und Hood-Sein ein Album besser macht.

Was ist denn nun mal unabhängig von Ideologiestreits von der Platte zu halten? Auch verglichen mit früheren Releases?
 
die früheren waren besser... gerade auf langfristige sicht, obwohl cookin' up, spend the night und noch 2 / 3 weitere wirklich sehr geil sind

das album ist 100% Cam, entweder man steht drauf oder eben nicht. neue fans wird er mit dem album nicht bekommen. er hat halt nicht mehr die top producer wie kanye oder just blaze im rücken, die beats sind teilweise gehobenes mixtape niveau. lyrisch gesehen ist das würd ich sagen fast sein unterhaltsamstes album, viele lines sind purer comedy und an beklopptheit kaum noch zu überbieten.
 
DukeDaGod included the Cam’ron and Jadakiss record “Let’s Talk About It” on his The Last Dragon mixtape, although you didn’t get the duet on Cam’s Crime Pays album. At least not yet. Cam is planning to re-release the album in July with a couple of new tracks. The new version will coincide with the release of his movie “The Bakery.” This summer, he also says to look for the U.N.’s debut.

“U.N. album, it was supposed to come out August 5th, but I wanna come out around the same time as some people I’m in competition with,” he explained to us. “I wanna wait for their date and put that [U.N.] album out the same date their album comes out.”

When asked what rival crew he was talking about, Killa declined to say.

“Whatever date you see the U.N. album and somebody else’s coming out, you’ll get a whiff of [who I'm talking about]. I hear [the other crew's] coming out September or something. If I don’t get no whiff of when the album is coming out, then we’ll stick to our original date and put the U.N. album out, like, August 5th or August 12th. Then I’m putting out another [solo] album in December, definitely.”

So far, Cam’s prized member of the U.N. is fellow Harlem native Vado. “Vado got a lot of hits. We got a few other acts we working with,” Killa said. “To keep it 100, Vado got the streets in a smash, and Harlem, he’s got an unbelievable buzz. Everybody in Harlem already know what it is. He’s got the ‘hood in a frenzy. I’m trying to bring the next new stuff out.”

"days of our lives" is unglaublich, 10 mal hintereinander gehört und jedes ma mehr gefeiert.

"crime pays" noch immer saugutes album.

scheiss auf u.n. und skullgang.

cam + jada = übertrieben gut
 
days of our lives is auf jeden mal wieder n hoffnungsschimmer das juelz es irgendwann doch nochmal schafft

sonst eher audigier ed hardy true religion jeans ab und zu gucci usw...

endlich wieder der fast alte juelz hab wieder hoffnung für das album....
 
hmm... zu Vado

Ich weis nich so überzeugt hat er mich noch nich.

Irgendwie siehts so aus dass er ein normaler Harlem Standart Rapper is für mich .

Nichts besonderes like Cam, Oder Juelz. Sogar Jimmy is was besonderes auf seiner weise :D
