Bei 1-2 Sachen könnte es interessant sein für jemanden der bisher kein Member war. Die 400 Degreez gab es bisher nie in Deutschland zu bestellen, die E40 auch nicht. Eine UGK anzubieten ohne direkte Anbindung an den eigenen customer service ist mutig wenn die immer noch alle warped sind.

Das Business Model eines Subscription Service ist mE auch vollkommen aus der Zeit gefallen. Die sollen einfach als Label agieren, gute Sachen rausbringen und sie dann auch leicht zugänglich machen für Konsumenten.

Nein im Ernst wer das cool findet soll es ruhig machen aber ich glaube als Konsument will man idR doch einfach die Freiheit ein Release das einen interessiert da zu kaufen wo es eben rauskommt, und so viele besondere Sachen hatten die jetzt auch nicht mehr die letzten Monate - und dann steht man da mit 200 Dollar Store Credit und weiß nicht wohin damit

Andererseits, wenn getondown jetzt bspw so was anbieten würde mit free shipping wäre ich interessiert haha - also am Ende des Tages kommt’s wahrscheinlich auf die releases an ich nehme alles zurück :D
 
Getondown würde mir ja schon reichen, wenn die Versandkosten nicht dermaßen gestört wären bzw. bei einer größeren Bestellung gleichbleiben würden. So hofft man halt immer auf die deutschen Distributoren, allen voran hhv.
 
Gibt es eigentlich schon wieder Hinweise, was im letzten Quartal an ROTM kommen soll? Mein Abo läuft noch bis einschließlich Oktober und momentan sieht es dann wirklich nach Ende aus….schwanke aktuell noch, ob ich die Jeezy nehme oder nicht….

GetOnDown kann auch nix für die hohen Versandkosten. Die waren noch nie günstig in den USA.
Schlimmer ist immer das Exclusive Gelaber und dann später doch bei HHV.
 
Jo, ab0r dit bedeutet du wartest und wirst dafür nich vom Zoll/ Versand abjezogen...die Sandl0r pressen dosch eh nur 300, vielleicht 1000...exclusive jenug...eigentlich wichtig0r, dass das Waxmaster bumst und nicht zuviele twacks pro Seide sind...jewisse Strich0r pressen sich0r Dats od0r mp3s auf Vinyl bihihihiihihihihihihihihiihihih
 
gibt aber schon ein paar US seiten wo es nicht so teuer ist wie bei getondown. und mit dem wort "exclusive" wird heute eh zu inflationär umgegangen. das neue denzel curry album gibt es EXKLUSIV bei getondown und EXKLUSIV bei VMP - das "exclusive" bezieht sich in dem fall auf die farbe der vinyl LOL, einmal rot und einmal grün. ach ja und nicht zu vergessen die germany exclusive neon green version bei hhv.

Viel günstiger als die 25 Dollar/Euro Versand können andere Shops nicht sein; bei Get On Down gehts zum Glück noch ohne Zoll des öfteren.

Zu Exklusiv: Das Problem ist das es nur bei manchen Platten stimmt und es kommt darauf an wie schnell die Dinger dort weg sind.

Die ersten beiden Cypress Hill LPs als Doppel Vinyl mit Bonus-Tracks gabs nur bei denen - sind nicht zu HHV gekommen. Passiert also willkürlich bei denen.

Zu den VMP Platten bei HHV… Die werden viele Rückläufiger bekommen da die Qualität total nachgelassen hat (wellig etc).

Aber der Versand steigt doch mit jeder Vinyl, so dass sich auch Sammelbestellungen kaum lohnen…hab mal spaßeshalber drei Vinyls in den Korb gepackt, Versandkosten betragen dann 46€….
Das wirkt schon viel.

Ist ja bei fast jedem Shop so in den USA. Versandkosten werden dort nach Gewicht berechnet. Fast mit jeder weiteren Platte wird es teurer. Verschickt man von hier in die USA per DHL kostet es 48€ bis 5kg. Sind um die 20 Platten. So nen Luxus haben die scheinbar nicht!

Many of you joined VMP because of the curation, community, and ability to get high-quality packages at affordable prices.

However, as our international presence has expanded, so have the challenges. Shipping costs have soared, delivery times have become increasingly unpredictable, and navigating the complex compliance requirements across different countries has made it difficult for us to maintain the high standard of service you expect and deserve. It’s no longer sustainable for us to continue operating in this way as, on average, we’ve been losing money on nearly every international order:​

After exploring numerous solutions, we found that every alternative would either greatly increase costs for our international members or compromise the service you’ve come to expect from us. Ultimately, we decided that discontinuing memberships to international members was the best choice for both you and VMP.

Here’s more information on what will happen next:​
  • Membership Cancellation: Your membership will automatically be canceled at the end of your current term. You’ll still have access to tracks and swaps in the meantime.

  • Store Purchases: Any pre-orders you’ve already placed will be shipped with your upcoming ROTMs or separately if your membership ends before they’re in stock. You can still buy records from the store until (and after) your membership expires. You will still get member pricing while your membership is active, and shipping, plus any applicable duties and taxes, will be charged on future store purchases. Each order will be shipped separately, and purchases will be limited to in-stock only. We’re working on making new ROTMs available for international members in the store in the months they are released. More to come on this.

  • Future Availability: We’re actively working on partnerships with international distributors to make VMP records available in local record stores worldwide. We’ll keep you updated as soon as we have more details.
We know this news may be disappointing, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding. Our mission has always been to bring people together through music, and we hope to offer memberships in your country again in the future.​

Voll die Ottos. Ist doch deren Problem wenn die die Scheiben von Tschechien in die USA schicken und dann zurück..,
Hätte das Presswerk bestimmt angeboten die Scheiben innerhalb Europas an den Käufer zu bringen.
 
Nimmt einem die Entscheidung ab….mal gucken, was im Oktober kommt, das müsste ich noch bekommen.
 
JAJA, sollen doch einfach nen Deal mit hhv machen und dann gehts von Tschechien nach DE...die sind wahrscheinlich mittlerweile eh die Bozze in d0r EU...hab da 2008 Percee P Alben bestellt...
 
Die werden das in Zukunft sicher über hhv machen, selbst die big doe rehab ist da jetzt schon vorbestellbar. Denke man wird nicht komplett drauf verzichten müssen
