^^ Ganz cool gemacht.
That finale was trash. Straight up. One of the worst finale's I've ever seen.
Thing is, this season focused so heavily on the war between Rick and the Governor. And then in the final hour, they drastically shift to it being about Andrea. I mean seriously, that was the climax of the episode. That was arc for the entire season (I guess?).
I've never seen such bizarre writing in my life. SO bad lmao. I still can't get over that ****. AMC just wanted them to stay in the prison so they didn't have to pay for new sets next season. Cheap bastards. And before you all go blaming Mazarra, 99% sure this is the fault of AMC and Kirkman. Notice how the first half doesn't match the second half. And how the finale didn't match the overall season narrative at all.
Seems like the big wigs at top meddling in ****.
Just ask yourself this:
Why was 20 min dedicated to Andrea being stuck in the chair? Why did the episode begin with that, and have it be the narrative that runs throughout the epsiode?
Why did the episode NOT show the governor - but instead ended with Andrea as the climax to the entire season?
Now think back to the entire season. Was Andrea really THAT important to the overall narrative? What had a bigger emphasis? Her trying to get peace with people? Or the impending feud between two groups?
Yeah...that's what I thought. ****in awful.
